Anthony Joshua MBE has announced that he will make his long awaited Stateside debut in June as he takes on the Mexican Andy Ruiz Jr. in a title fight, as Joshua puts his four World Heavyweight IBF, WBA, WBO & IBO titles on the line in June 2019.
This special evening will take place in New York City at the iconic Madison Square Garden on Saturday 1 June 2019.
This bout will see the two fighters battle it out at the famous venue for what is sure to be one of the biggest match-ups in years as Joshua puts his unbeaten record on the line.
29 year old Joshua has raced to 22-0 with 21 devastating KO wins since turning pro and now looks ahead to his next fight.
Where as Ruiz Jr. boasts his own formidable unbeaten record with 23 wins and 1 loss from his 33 bouts.
The victor in this winner takes all contest will be within touching distance of becoming the first undisputed heavyweight champion of the world since Britain's Lennox Lewis held all of the belts in 1999.
